Welcome to Cornerstone Teams!  For those who have served in the past, welcome to a new way of continuing to serve!   We would love to have you as part of a team!

Please indicate below where you feel you could share your gifts and talents with us. If you feel uncertain as to where you would be a good fit, leave us a note below or simply tick the "I am happy to serve anywhere" option and we will happily find a place for you.

As always if we don't hear from our regulars we will assume you are available to continue serving. For those whose areas have changed, such as Host Teams, please sign up for your selected role once again. Please also note that Morning Tea Teams will no longer work on a rotating roster.

Are these new roles confusing you? Not to worry! See below for a short description of each...

• Greeters & Ushers: Are you a people's person? Do you enjoy welcoming people, making them feel at home and included? This is your chance to practice that smile! You will be the first to greet everyone who enters our doors and leave a lasting impression. Help them find a seat, mingle with them and our regulars after service and introduce them to others to form connection. Ensure no one leaves without feeling loved and cared for.
• Set-up & Parking: Are you an early bird? Do you enjoy the practical side of providing a well presented facility to welcome people to church?  Are you fit and able? Do you look good wearing a Hi Vis outfit to help our valued church goers find parking? This could be the role for you!
• Pack-down & Lock up: Do you enjoy lingering and chatting? In no rush to get somewhere after service and happy to lock up our facility? Do you find satisfaction in the practical side of hosting by packing away and tidying? Are you fit and able? We need you on this team!
• In-Service Team: You do all the bits and pieces that create a smooth running service. You are happy to arrive early to prep Communion, hand it out during service together with the offering bags later on and wash up after. You work together with our Greeters helping people to find a seat, settle individuals in so that they feel comfortable, count our numbers and make everyone feel welcome.
• Facilities Care Team (BEFORE service): Do you have an eye for detail? Do you value good hygiene standards and like things neat and tidy? Can you follow directions to organise a space and create a great first impression? Are you an early bird and able to do some light cleaning and tidying? We are looking for you!
• Facilities Care Team (AFTER service): Are you happy to linger and wait until the last few have left? Do you have an eye for detail? Do you value good hygiene standards and like things neat and tidy? Are you able to do some light cleaning and tidying and stick to guidelines to put things back as they are meant to be? Please join our team! We look forward to creating a beautfiul space with you!
• Morning Tea Hospitality Team: You serve a vital role in showing Cornerstone's hospitality to all who come through our doors! Do you value good hygiene standards and have an eye for detail to set up a welcoming and tidy Tea Station? Are you organised and able to keep an eye on supplies while still ensuring our guests are taken care of? Are you friendly and happy to mingle with others; helping them feel welcomed and included? Please join us in sharing Cornerstone's love for others through hospitality!
• Cafe Barista Team: Together with the Morning Tea team you will provide care and hospitality after Sunday Services by creating beautful drinks to bless our church goers. You need to be able to work the coffee machine efficiently or be willing to undergo training as needed. When you aren't making coffee you will be mingling and looking after our guests. If you love coffee and people, value working as part of a team and providing an excellent service, we want to hear from you! There is also an option to provide your availability for events!
• Laundry Team: Are you a superstar with stain removal and ironing? Please get in touch! We have tea towels used during service and tablecloths for events, all of which vary in quanity from one week to another. If this is your way of serving please let us know, we need you!
• Events (Creative): Every so often Cornerstone puts on various events and we would love to have the help of our volunteers to create a memorable one every time. Are you creative and happy to be a team player to get things done? Can you follow direction and work independantly? Can you stick to a defined budget and help set one up? Do you take pride in your work? Are you available on weekends and during the week? Do you have the get up and go to bring a creation to life? We would love to hear from you as well as get an idea of your availability.
• Events (Hospitality): Do you love cooking and baking and enjoy sharing it with others? Are you happy to follow the hygiene guidelines provided for safe food handling? Are you familiar with dietary requirements or happy to follow direction with this? Would you love to bless others by providing delicious eats for our church events? If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you! 
• Production (Events): Do you have a passion for sound and creating the perfect experience for our events? Maybe you aren't available on a Sunday but are more flexible to serve as our events arise? We have various events put on by the church or outside applicants throughout the year and require trustworthy and enthusiastic volunteers who know how to care for the equipment and use it to its full advantage!
